LSS-SW Family Resource Centers
Ninety percent of a child’s brain develops during the first five years. Studies show that children exposed to high quality early childhood experiences develop stronger language, math and social skills. LSS-SW Family Resource Centers helps parents build a strong foundation for their children, helping to ensure they are ready for school and ready for life.
Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest Family Resource Centers, in partnership with First Things First, provide families with children birth to five years old access to information and links to the resources they need to be confident and capable in their ability to support their child’s safety, health and overall well-being.
Services offered include child & parent workshops, resource & referral, developmental screenings, parenting education, coaching, and support. We also offer assistance completing SNAP and AHCCCS applications in the comfort of our offices.
